Here is a fantastic bassline from Jason Black of Hotwater music. I play it in the different key to make it sound more clear on youtube, but sort of mess it up. The tune is called Free Radio Gainesville (that is where they're from). The band is/was really great and this guy's parts are always interesting and fun to play.

Located in Gainesville Florida, Paynes Priarie Preserve State Park covers 21,000 acres. The Vast Priarie is a Basin which fills with water occasionally. It was actually a huge lake at one time where steamboats would travel. Alachua sink is its primary drain.. In 1891 nature herself unclogged the drain and drained the whole lake leaving what is now Paynes Prairie. Wild horses, Bison and alligators are just a few of the animals that call the prairie home. Much like the everglades it is a very unique ecosystem.

NBC Radio News On The Hour with Lew Wood, announcing the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Recorded in my dorm room in Gainesville on the night of the assassination from a WRUF-AM broadcast. Nothing was known at the time of the broadcast about the murderer, James Earl Ray. He was apprehended on June 8th, 1968 at London’s Heathrow Airport and extradited back to the United States. Ray pleaded guilty and never stood trial, though he later recanted his confession. Years later King's own son and wife took Ray's side and argued for a re-opening of the case. The newscast also updates the war in Vietnam and announces that a gun control bill in the US Senate failed to pass. In addition, original commercials for Digel and the 1968 Chevrolet's are intact.
